JUST DENTS — THE ART OF SITTING LOW
A classic Beetle, a 4-inch narrowed Limebug Jawbreaker front beam and a complete Deluxe air ride transformation. Just Dents’ Volkswagen demonstrates how a carefully chosen suspension setup can change the character of an already iconic shape.

Sometimes the stance says enough.
There are plenty of ways to make a Volkswagen Beetle stand out.
Fresh paint, custom wheels, extensive bodywork or an engine that sounds as though it has absolutely no intention of behaving itself.
But one of the most effective changes is often underneath.
Just Dents’ Beetle received the Limebug Deluxe air ride treatment, built around our 4-inch narrowed Ball Joint Jawbreaker front beam.
The idea is deceptively simple.
Bring the wheels further beneath the front wings, introduce adjustable ride height and allow the Beetle’s original shape to take on an entirely different appearance.
Of course, getting the combination right requires rather more thought than simply making the car lower.
The Jawbreaker treatment
A four-inch narrowed front end
At the heart of the conversion sits our 4-inch narrowed Ball Joint Jawbreaker air ride beam.
Designed for the later Beetle front suspension platform, the narrowed beam reduces the front track width and allows the wheels to sit further beneath the original wings.
It’s a particularly effective modification when combined with air suspension.
Lowering a Beetle changes the relationship between the tyres, arches and bodywork, and the narrowed beam creates additional room for the intended fitment.
The result is a more closely tucked front end without needing to radically alter the car’s familiar silhouette.
The Deluxe air ride system
Just Dents’ Beetle uses a Limebug Deluxe Air Ride Kit, providing adjustable suspension rather than a permanently fixed lowered stance.
That flexibility is one of the main attractions of a complete air system.
The car can be brought down for its intended parked appearance and raised again when additional ground clearance is needed.
It’s an approach that suits a custom Beetle particularly well, combining a dramatic stance with practical adjustment.
The exact rear suspension generation and air management equipment haven’t been independently confirmed, so those details are best left to the vehicle’s full build specification.
Just Dents’ Beetle on film
A video is particularly useful for an air-suspended car because photographs can only show one ride height at a time.
The footage provides a chance to appreciate the vehicle beyond a static image.

A Beetle with a different perspective.
One of the reasons the Beetle remains so popular is how well its original design adapts to individual ideas.
The shape is instantly recognisable, whether the vehicle is factory original or extensively modified.
Just Dents’ Beetle takes advantage of that versatility.
Rather than relying on changes to the original body shape, its confirmed Limebug specification concentrates on the suspension.
A narrower front axle.
A Deluxe air ride arrangement.
And the ability to change the car’s stance as required.
The same unmistakable Volkswagen. Just sitting a little differently.
