How It All Started
In our earliest days, Limebug specialised in import and light scale production / restoration for around 8 Years. In the industrial heart of Stoke-on-Trent nestled below picturesque Peak District. With engineering being the heart of passion we risked and fought the day-to-day to build up enough time/ capital to purchase our first Lathe, Ramps and Industrial Welder. We imported modified and restored a 1951 Tempo Matador which to this day is synonomous with Limebug as our shop truck. This marked the beginning of our journey into aircooled custom design.
Today
Now operating our own in house CNC Engineering Suite, including robotic assembly and production cells expanding across many disciplines of mechanical design from manually operated to through to full CAD/CAM production as we continue to broaden our knowledge.
With a dedicated showroom including our most significant back catalog of builds, since 2025 we relocated to a larger more functional development still only around 15 miles from where we began. Our showroom also features our assembly line where the products meet final assembly and QC. Finishing on this floor at our dispatch line. Above we have our stockroom, office block and media rooms.
The engineering department now has a dedicated build mezzanine for ongoing builds, the toolroom and vehicle build / detailing station can also be found here.
