The single groove design is far superior to the standard 3 groove VW design, and will outlast it many times over, without the wear and tear normally caused by standard VW valve locks. Supergrip Single Groove Locks are for use only with Supergrip Single Groove Valves, Chromoly Retainers, and Supergrip Titanium Retainers.
