Stock Width Elite Series Front Lowering Kit – 1968-79 Bay Window Bus
Elite Series Split Screen Beams are built around a versatile design including direct mount with no body / chassis modification for Narrowed and Stock width models, flexibility for Air Ride and Static applications as standard, fitted with roller needle bearings as per original Split Screen beam assembly, ambidextrous fixings for LHD and RHD models as well as both a factory and 1” beam raise built into every end plate.
Combining this with an increase in castor over factory axle design to achieve improved road holding, particularly at speed whilst also reducing lane wander. Fixed via dual adjusters on both upper and lower CDS single piece beam tube’s and linked to the spindles via our own design raised/ tucked steering pin mount.
Each steering pin is relocated tighter to the beam, both counteracting the effect of increased castor in reference the drag link rod whilst most importantly resolving ackermann angle issues on our 2” and 4” narrowed models. This increases both lock-to-lock travel whilst reducing steering weight at slower speeds.
Further to these features we offer CNC’d Torsion Leaves / Through Rods depending on your application, plus solid core Track Rods pre-narrowed and ready to install as well as brake servo mounts.

Bay Window 1968-79 Lower Shock Relocators
– Reposition the lower shock mounting fixture to allow for correct position for optimum lift/clearance within the tight tolerances on this front suspension assembly.
– Bolt on Application
– Sold in Pairs, includes bolts & washers required to mount the shocks.
1968-79 Bay Window 2, 1/4″ Dropped Spindles
– Single piece dropped spindles 100% new and no flipping ball joints or track rod ends. Simply remove the old and install the new.
– These Dropped Spindles are manufactured from all new castings and feature Chromoly axles. Powdercoated in Satin Black
– These units add 1cm of track width per side. Lowers the vehicle by 6cm exactly.
– Retains all steering and suspension geometry not compromising your handling or ride quality.
