BlackBugz’ 1957 Beetle
Limebug-Equiped Oval Bug
Over in Norway, a long-time customer of ours @vw_blackbugz has built a very special Oval. Originally buying his Air Kit back in 2018, TT has slowly upgraded his system to match modern designs. Most recently, the previous Monroe Air Shocks have been updated to our MOA430 Design. This provides the Type 1 with a greater lift and a softer ride.
Moving onto the exterior, BlackBugz pulled out all the stops. To start, he fitted a custom set of Fuch Split Rims. Fitted with small profile tyres, the car sits super low to the floor. To make the front end stand out, TT has added some Amber Tint Headlights. A very bold choice, but we think they look killer against Black bodywork. Similar to our very own ’63, this Beetle has a Jim Dandy Rack/Safari Window fitted. These parts are both a great addition to any build, BlackBugz Beetle is no exception.
