This kit allows you to fit an early Volkswagen Type 1 gearbox with a 2-bolt nose cone (1961–1972) into a later chassis, such as a 1973–1979 Beetle or Super Beetle, originally designed for the 3-bolt style mount.

The set includes a durable steel adapter plate, a red urethane nose-cone mount, and all necessary hardware. It provides a straightforward solution to the common mismatch between early transmissions and later chassis without resorting to solid mounts.
