Description
Bring modern LED performance to your late Bay Window Bus while maintaining its original appearance with this high-quality rear light retrofit kit. Designed specifically for 1972-1979 Volkswagen Type 2 Bay Window models, this plug and play conversion fits directly into the original three-section rear tail light housings, providing brighter stop, tail and indicator lights with no permanent modifications required.
The kit utilises a three-piece LED module design to accurately illuminate each individual section of the original European specification tail light assembly. Each side features 130 heavy-duty automotive-grade SMD LEDs, delivering exceptional brightness, rapid illumination and excellent light distribution for improved visibility in all driving conditions. Designed for long-term reliability and low power consumption, the system is compatible with both 6-volt and 12-volt negative earth electrical systems.
Designed as a true plug and play upgrade, each module is supplied with an approximately 25cm wiring loom and factory-style connectors for quick, straightforward installation. No cutting or modification to the original vehicle wiring is required, making this the ideal upgrade for both concours restorations and regularly driven Bay Window Buses.
Please note: Lenses are not included. This kit is designed to work with your existing original or replacement rear light lenses, preserving the factory appearance when unlit while providing significantly improved illumination when in use.
Each LED retrofit kit is supplied fully assembled and ready to install.
