The Sleeper has been designed to fit inside the decklid of a Beetle and the Ghia without the need for any bodywork modifications 

– no one knows it is there until they hear the whine of the AMR500. It is ideal for engines from 1300cc to 1641cc giving excellent power and torque improvements to a stock engine. It fits into a Bay and a Splitty and will give you the boost you need to get up those hills.

The standard Sleeper kit includes the AMR500 supercharger connected to a S/Shorty carb as fitted to Harley Davidson motorcycles and includes a MST serpentine pulley system. The Sleeper kit includes a fuel pressure regulator and pressure gauge plus all cables, belts, hoses, filters  and all fittings required.

The Sleeper is an ideal kit for engine sizes of 1641cc and below giving excellent gains in both power and torque, it also works well on campers. For all Sleeper kits that we provide we can fit the carb jets that are most likely to be suitable for your engine specification-Please contact us first for this option otherwise you will receive the standard specification.

To run the Sleeper kit on your car you will need an electric fuel pump and a crankcase oil breather. These can all be selected as part of your order if you do not already have them.

It is recommended to use this Supercharger kit with a 123 Ignition Tune + Bluetooth Distributor, with this distributor you can remotely assign the correct advance curve and fine tune the vehicle in a more accessible manor than the conventional distributor set-ups.

Please note: Never set the advance on your distributor to more than 20 degrees. In doing so could result in catastrophic engine failure. Always read the instructions to ensure the correct installation process has been completed. It is advised that all installations and tuning work is to be completed by competent aircooled specialists.
