Description
What is this part called?
M14x1.5 Chrome Tapered Wheel Bolt – 27mm Thread
What does this part do on a VW?
This chrome wheel bolt is designed for compatible wheel hubs using an M14x1.5 thread and a tapered wheel seat.
The 27mm thread length makes it suitable for applications requiring a medium-length wheel bolt, including certain aftermarket alloy wheel installations and compatible custom wheel or brake setups.
The tapered seat is typically used with compatible aftermarket alloy wheels, helping centre and secure the wheel correctly against the hub when matched with the correct wheel seat profile.
The chrome finish provides a clean appearance where the wheel fixings remain visible.

Please Note
Vehicle model alone should not be used to confirm wheel bolt compatibility. Classic VWs can use different wheel fixing arrangements depending on the year, brake setup, wheels fitted and any hub or spacer conversions.
Tapered wheel bolts are generally used with compatible aftermarket alloy wheels. Please check the wheel seat profile carefully before purchasing, as steel wheels and Porsche alloy wheels using a radius seat require a different fixing type.
Please check the thread size, thread length and wheel seat profile against your wheels and hubs before purchasing. Correct thread engagement is essential when fitting wheels, and all clearances should be checked before the vehicle is driven.
