What does this part do on a VW?
This glass headlight lens forms the front of the original headlight assembly, protecting the reflector and bulb while the patterned glass provides the correct distribution of the headlight beam.
This is the right hand drive version of the lens, designed for European RHD vehicles including UK specification models. It is ideal for replacing an original headlight lens that has become cracked, chipped, damaged or missing while retaining the correct period-style headlight assembly.
Manufactured by Hella in Germany, this is a high-quality 190mm glass headlight lens with the correct patterned face for right hand drive applications. The lens is E-marked and designed for the original three-screw style headlight assemblies fitted to these vehicles.
The lens can be fitted to either the left or right hand headlight, with two required when replacing both sides of the vehicle.
