What does this part do on a VW?
This glass headlight lens forms the front of the original-style headlight assembly, protecting the reflector and bulb while providing the correct patterned glass required to distribute the headlight beam.
Designed as a replacement for the original Bosch-style lens, this is ideal for replacing a chipped, cracked, damaged or missing headlight glass without having to replace the complete headlight assembly.
The lens fits to the separate headlight reflector using the original-style rubber seal and retaining components. It can be used on either the left or right hand headlight, with two required if replacing both sides of the vehicle.
