This original-style exhaust silencer is designed for compatible 1300cc, 1500cc and 1600cc aircooled VW engines fitted with a single hot spot inlet manifold.
The silencer replaces a worn, damaged or corroded original exhaust and restores the traditional factory-style exhaust layout. It is suitable for restorations, maintenance and vehicles where retaining the original appearance and exhaust configuration is preferred.
The silencer incorporates the inlet manifold pre-heat connections required for the single hot spot manifold arrangement and connects to the standard heater boxes or compatible J-tubes.

This silencer is designed for engines using a single hot spot inlet manifold and is not suitable for 1300cc twin hot spot applications. Please check the pre-heat pipe arrangement on your existing inlet manifold before purchasing.
