Description
What is this part called?
1965-79 Beetle / Karmann Ghia Sidewinder Steel Black Coated Full Exhaust System
What does this part do on a VW?
This performance 4-into-1 exhaust system is designed to improve exhaust gas flow and increase engine efficiency compared to the standard factory exhaust arrangement. By merging all four cylinder outlets into a single collector, the system helps reduce back pressure and improve scavenging, making it a popular upgrade for both road-going and performance-oriented air-cooled Volkswagen engines.
Featuring a Single Quiet Pack style silencer, this exhaust provides a sportier exhaust note without the excessive noise often associated with competition systems. The side-exit design delivers the classic performance VW appearance while maintaining good ground clearance and everyday usability.
