What does this part do on a VW?
This original VW clamping nut fits to the left-hand front spindle and is used to correctly adjust and secure the front wheel bearing assembly. The pinch-bolt design allows the nut to be locked securely in position once the correct wheel bearing adjustment has been achieved.
