What does this product do?
This Sebring style sports exhaust system is designed as a performance-inspired replacement for the standard exhaust fitted to air-cooled VW Beetle and Karmann Ghia models.
The system features a twin silencer layout with J-tubes replacing the original heat exchangers, making it suitable for vehicles where the factory heating system is no longer required. The Sebring-inspired design provides a classic motorsport appearance while offering a freer-flowing exhaust arrangement for 1300cc to 1600cc air-cooled engines.
Manufactured from glass bead blasted stainless steel, the system has a clean, uniform satin-style finish while retaining the corrosion resistance and durability associated with stainless steel construction. The 38mm inlet pipes and 41mm outlet pipes provide a suitable flow path for standard and mildly tuned engines.
Its compact Sebring-style layout also makes this system an excellent choice for Porsche 356 and 917 replica or kit cars using a compatible air-cooled VW engine, where the period motorsport appearance particularly suits the vehicle.

This system may also fit earlier Beetle and Karmann Ghia models where a later compatible 1300cc to 1600cc engine has been fitted. Fitment should be checked against the engine and exhaust configuration rather than vehicle year alone.
Please note: This system replaces the original heat exchangers with J-tubes and therefore removes the factory heater functionality. Additional mounting hardware may be required.
