Description
What is this part called?
Exterior Mirror Mounting Arm ? Cranked, Left Hand (RatSport 943/L)
What does this part do on a VW?
This aftermarket mirror mounting arm is used to position and support an exterior mirror head on the vehicle.
The cranked (offset) design allows the mirror to sit correctly in the driver?s field of view when mounted
to the door or body panel. It is typically used on classic Volkswagens, kit cars, and custom builds where
a period-style mirror setup is required. This part does not include the mirror itself and must be used in
conjunction with a compatible mirror head. It is not an OEM Volkswagen component and installation may require
drilling or adapting depending on the vehicle.
