Description
What is this part called?
1960-79 Beetle / Ghia Aircooled 36HP Style Single Port Fan Shroud Without Heater Outlets
What does this part do on a VW?
This black 36HP-style fan shroud is designed for compatible single port aircooled VW engines and provides the main cooling airflow over the cylinders and cylinder heads.
The rounded 36HP-style design provides a cleaner, more compact appearance than a later factory fan shroud and can also provide additional clearance around certain twin carburettor installations.
This version is supplied without heater air outlets, making it suitable for vehicles which do not require the original heater box air supply or where the heating system has been removed.
The internal air directing vanes help distribute cooling air across the engine, while the black finish provides a clean appearance within the engine bay.
