Description
This kit allows you to fit an early Volkswagen Type 1 gearbox with a 2-bolt nose cone (1961–1972) into a later chassis, such as a 1973–1979 Beetle or Super Beetle, originally designed for the 3-bolt style mount.
The set includes a durable steel adapter plate, a red urethane nose-cone mount, and all necessary hardware. It provides a straightforward solution to the common mismatch between early transmissions and later chassis without resorting to solid mounts.
Ideal for restorations, conversions, or upgrades where you wish to retain the correct fitment while benefiting from the strength and longevity of urethane components.
Compatible with the following models:
T1 Beetle 1972-1979
Karmann Ghia 1972-1974
OE Reference: B6-5195-0
SKU: 020040024
