What does this part do on a VW?
This 12V electric horn provides an audible warning signal for a wide range of classic aircooled VW applications and is an ideal replacement for a worn, damaged or non-functioning original horn.
The traditional Bosch-style design and chrome finish provide a period appearance which suits restored, customised and regularly driven classic VWs.
This horn is designed for vehicles operating on a 12V electrical system. Earlier vehicles originally equipped with a 6V electrical system will require conversion to 12V before this horn can be used.
