Installation/Fitment Notes:
– For up to 1966 and 1967 euro spec non servo brakes with a dual master cylinder: The rear brake line and brake light switch are fitted to the front two ports closest to the push rod. You should have two front brake lines, one to each of the left and right front brakes. These fit to the two rear ports on the dual circuit cylinder.
– For 1967 US buses non servo brakes with a dual master cylinder: The rear line is fitted to one of the front ports closest to the pushrod. The front line is fitted to one of the rear ports. There are 2 brake light switches one in the front port and one in the rear port. Check the rod that goes into the master cylinder from the pedal. It should have an 1/8" inch of play before, you can feel the rod make contact with the plunger If there is no play – the plunger will not come back far enough to let the fluid into the cylinder – If it has too much play you will be pushing the pedal down a long way before the master cylinder even does anything. To adjust undo the jam nut on the pushrod and change the length, then do the nut back up.
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE AN ORIGINAL PEDAL PAN THIS WILL NO LONGER FIT DUE TO THE EXTRA LENGTH OF THE NEW MASTER CYLINDER.
