The Blizzard Oil Cooling System

The Blizzard Cooling System, is designed to work with all Type 1 based engine blocks. Your case will require tapping for full flow before fitting this kit.

This kit uses a 30mm gear high pressure oil pump in conjunction with high grade internal web oil hose and all new fixings and fittings.

This kit unlike our basic full flow kit allows the original oil cooler to still be utilised to offer two stage cooling, i.e. one constant cooling system as per the OE cooler, as well as the termostat controlled secondary oil cooler in this kit.

The thermostat in this kit is programmed to kick in at 180oF. This system is deisgned for low clearance setups and can be easily locate on T1 or T3(Ghia) under the rear boot floor above the gearbox, and on T2 Bus and Vans between the chassis rails.

Keeping cool is the key to engine longevity, and minimising wear. This system, does not over chill the system either by using a part time thermostat, the system will only activate when temperatures are above optimal.
