Improve the visibility and safety of your classic Beetle with this advanced LED rear light retrofit kit. Designed specifically for 1962–1967 VW Beetle models, this kit fits directly into the original taillight housings and upgrades all rear lighting functions—stop, tail, and indicator—to ultra-bright, modern LED performance. Installation is quick and straightforward, taking approximately 30 minutes with no prior electrical experience required.

At the core of the kit is a high-performance LED array, featuring 139 heavy-duty SMD LEDs per unit—a total of 278 LEDs per pair. These automotive-grade components offer exceptional brightness, wide light dispersion, and improved visibility in all conditions. Engineered for efficiency and longevity, the system draws minimal current and is compatible with both 6-volt and 12-volt negative earth systems.

Wiring is made simple with a colour-coded 45cm loom that matches OE specifications, and a laser-engraved colour key on each unit to aid installation.

Please note: The lens is not included. This kit is designed to work seamlessly with your existing 1962–67 Beetle lenses, preserving the factory appearance when unlit.

Each LED retrofit kit is supplied fully assembled and ready to install.
