This Straight Axle Conversion essentially allows you to convert your Split Screen rear gearbox/suspension assembly to a Swing Axle Beetle set-up. The benefit of this conversion is to remove the Split Screen reduction box set-up, which allows for a better gearing ratio thus allowing your vehicle to maintain speed with modern traffic.

Our kit is supplied with 2" Dropped Adjustable Spring Plates giving you the option to fit directly in the factory spline position to gain an instant 2" drop. Or with approximately 4" of total adjustment using the grub screw adjuster, allows further ride height dialing to suit your requirements.

The kit also comes with the following components:

– Correct Length Axle Tubes with Axle Housing (Pair)
– Handbrake Cable Conversion Tubes (Pair)
– Spring Plate Spacers (Pair)
– 6x Gearbox Flange Gaskets (0.33mm)
– Swing Axle O Rings (Pair)
– Hub/Axle Gasket Seal Kits (Pair)

Optional parts include:

– Correct Length Axles
– Bearing End Caps
